The Homecoming Parade will be Friday, Sept. 12 at 2:00 PM. If you are interested in being in the parade, line up in the HS parking lot by 1:45 PM. The route is included here:

There has been some recent changes to sports schedules.

Thursday, September 11 - MS Volleyball @ Lewistown was added to the schedule.
  7th Grade - 5:30 PM
  8th Grade - 6:30 PM

Monday, September 29 - HS JV Football vs Scobey @ Mustang Field - 5:00 PM was also added to the schedule.

Next week is MHS Homecoming 2025! Check out the list of events.

The band treated the school to "random acts of pep band" today.

Friday, October 10 - @ Poplar (C/JV/V) → 4:00 PM (previously 1:00 PM)

Additionally, we have added a couple of sub-varsity volleyball contests:

Friday, September 12 - vs. Grass Range (C/JV) Match starts at 4:00 PM
Tuesday, October 7 - @ North Country (C/JV) Match starts at 4:30 PM

Fall activities start this weekend. Cross Country travels to Wolf Point on Friday. Football hosts Huntley Project on Friday and Volleyball will host the Malta Tournament starting at 9:00 AM.
Remember Activity Tickets are available for purchase at the high school office. You must have your activity ticket to be admitted, there will not be a list of ticket holders at the gate. Activity Ticket prices are as follows: Family - $200; Adult - $75; Student - $30.

Mrs. Shyla Clausen is the first recipient of the Core 3 Award for the MS., nominated by Kallie. The Core 3 Award allows students to recognize any staff member who: Empowers students to learn, Leads with kindness and by example, and exhibits Excellence. The Core 3 reflects our mission statement of "Empowering Learners, Inspiring Leaders" and our motto of "A Tradition of Excellence." Kallie nominated Mrs. Clausen because "she empowers me to learn by giving me goals to achieve that motivate me to get the work done and do it efficiently. Mrs. Clausen is always ready to help you with any questions you might have and always makes sure we." Congratulations, Mrs. Clausen!

To support our valued staff member, Megan Davis and her entire family, we will be cancelling school on Thursday August 21, 2025 for the funeral of Derek Davis. We anticipate a large number of staff and their families will want to attend the funeral at 10:30 AM in the Old Gym. The number of substitute teachers available, will not be adequate to cover the classrooms needed.

1st practice for MS football and volleyball is Aug. 18. Students must have completed health physical and ImPACT baseline testing done prior to practice.

School Starts Tomorrow! Elementary doors open and breakfast is served at 7:40 AM.
HS/MS doors open and breakfast is served starting at 7:30 AM.

New to the locker room hallway is a display of the famous "Man in the Arena" by Theodore Roosevelt. This passage is a great statement of the importance of effort and struggle, even in failure, that we want all of our students and athletes to work towards. Next to the passage are photos picked by a student committee that reflect this message. More will be added each year.

Parents and students are invited to Open House night on Aug. 12. Elementary Open House will be 4:00-6:00 PM and MS/HS Open House will be 5:00-7:00 PM. Students can bring supplies and meet their teachers for the upcoming school year. Help kick off the 2025-26 school year!
