January Student of the Month is Kallie LaBrie. Mrs. Clausen had this to say, "I’m proud to nominate Kallie LaBrie for Student of the Month. Kallie is the kind of student every teacher hopes to have. She’s a leader without ever trying to be—she just naturally steps up, works hard, and sets a positive example for everyone around her. Whether she’s focused on her schoolwork or involved in her extracurriculars, she always puts in her best effort. What really makes Kallie stand out is her character. She has strong morals and a good head on her shoulders, and you can see that in the way she treats people. She’s genuinely kind, respectful, and always willing to help someone who needs it. She makes others feel seen and supported. Kallie is truly the embodiment of our school’s mission statement. Mrs. Crystal Lett is the December recipient of the Core 3 Award for the MS, nominated by Maria. The Core 3 Award allows students to recognize any staff member who empowers students to learn, leads with kindness and by example, and exhibits excellence. The Core 3 reflects our mission statement of "Empowering Learners, Inspiring Leaders" and our motto of "A Tradition of Excellence." Maria nominated Mrs. Lett because "She is so nice, and when I come in every day, she makes me smile. She makes people laugh and gives them a good day, even when they've had a bad one.
