Thank you to the Phillips County Hospital and Mrs. Estill for coming in today to help the Freshmen work through a personality traits inventory. Malta FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) attended the State Leadership Conference in Bozeman March 19-20.
The Malta Chapter was recognized for:
Gold Star Chapter for the first year since re-establishing a chapter in 2023.
Averee was installed as a State Officer and Vice President of Community Outreach
Malta had 9 STAR event entries this year and had great results!

Brekken - 1st Place, Chapter in Review Portfolio Level 2*
Sadie & Kendle - 1st Place, Chapter Service Display Level 2*
Savannah - 1st Place, Early Childhood Education, Level 2*

Renzey & Danaley - 2nd Place, Focus on Children Level 3*
Rhiaunna - 1st Place, Interior Design Level 2*
Kade - Bronze Medal, Repurpose and Redesign Level 2

*National Qualifier - July 6-10 in Washington, DC

Bryce - 1st Place in Ultimate Toy Challenge & Situational Solutions, Level 3
Members Tailynn & Hannah attended the Industry Immersion Tour, learning about careers in Hospitality & Tourism at Buff City Soaps, Aurore Bakery, and the Human Resource Development Council.
Ms. Trinity Young received the Alumni Achievement Award (Member of Malta FCCLA 1999-2003).
Ms. Smith received the New Adviser of the Year Award.

Friday, March 20 is Parent-Teacher Conferences at the Elementary School. If you would like to meet with your child's teacher and have not already been contacted for an appointment, please call the Elementary Office at 406-654-2320 to schedule a time.
Parents wishing to visit with MS and HS teachers can come to the school from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

MHS Anatomy & Physiology and Chemistry classes are coming into spring with focus! The Anatomy & Physiology students are investigating a mini-whodunnit with s simulated blood typing exercise. The Chemistry class is practicing their water stacking skills to better understand the behavior of polar compounds. The tiny details matter!

M-ETTES FINISH 2ND AT STATE
The Malta M-ettes capped an outstanding season with a second-place finish at the 2026 State Class B Girls' Basketball Tournament in Bozeman this weekend, falling to Baker High School in the championship game.
We could not be more proud of our M-ettes for the dedication and heart they showed all season long. They represented Malta with class at every step.
Thank you to our coaches for your time and dedication to our team. Thank you parents, families, and fans for the incredible support throughout this run. Lastly, thank you to our seniors for the lasting impact you have made on M-ette Basketball.

2026 Class B State Girls Basketball Tournament
The Malta High School M-ettes will open play at the 2026 Class B State Girls Basketball Tournament on Thursday, March 12, at 3:30 PM against Sweet Grass County High School (Big Timber). The tournament will take place at the MSU Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman. There will be a send-off in the High School Corral at 11:00AM on Wednesday.
